Got back home from teaching at 1:00 AM. Got up at 6:00 and went to John Deere dealership and picked up my new JD Z960A ZTR w/60" deck. Brought it home to get the lawn mowed before I leave in the morning for another 8 days. What used to take 10 hours to get mowed, I got done in 4 hours.
If it hadn't been so dang hot, I would have mowed the other half today too.

Didn't really want to spend the money, but after my 4100 hydrostatic transmission started going out it was either get new or pay another 4 grand to replace the tranny.

Nothing like having a quality mower with a big yard. We have 2 Hustler Super Zs and love em.

Nice. Pretty sure that's in my future before next mowing season. Tired of mowing this with a 36" deck.

Matt, you could get an offset mower and be able to mow an extra 48" each pass a lot cheaper.

Nah, that wouldn't maneuver really well around my trees and landscaping, plus my current rider has 670hrs, it's only 12.5Hp, and the clutch packs are shot (it's a pre-hyrdostatic drive Cub Cadet). It barely has enough guts to mow what I have now.
