Worked a 16 hour midnight shift and decided instead of catching some Zzzz's, I climbed in the tree at 1pm. Its been a little over 2 hours and have seen nothing. Fairly windy today and the swaying tree is rocking me asleep and keeping me awake at times, lol. Not sure if I'll stay still dark though even though I should.

I have heard that after the rut bucks "lockdown" does for around 2 weeks any one know if this is true or not. I have been out the past two nights and not even the slightest sign that a deer was moving around me
