I thought there would be nothing better than seeing my wife's eyes go big when she got her first bow in the mail and opens it up. Its when she says "I will get changed and we can go shoot" is what tops it. (I thought my wife could not get any hotter, however seeing her with a bow in hand...) She did pretty good, other than kissing her arm with the string on the second shot, she learned pretty quick to keep her arm away from the string, lol. Just have to get her muscles a little stronger, she learned that her cardio exercises did not make her stronger. She admitted that it looks easier than it really is. Sorry for the post, just thought being new to the thread I would start my posts somewhere. How many of you shoot with your significant others?

My ex-wife would have thought I lost my mind. She would (and was) have been right. I have only recently begun the return to sanity. Can't imagine having a wife who like the outdoors...sigh...maybe one day. But till then!!!

My wife shoots some. It only happens a few times a year now but, when it does its awesome to have her out with me. She does well with it too. The last time we shot was a month or so ago and at 20 she kept them all within the 9 and 10 rings on a Vegas target. It's an awesome experience to shoot with your spouse.
Thats awesome that she did so well. We went out again the other day and three hours went by before we knew it. Felt it the next day, lol.
