My other hobby is ice racing. Figure I mess with my 2013red40 on the ice. Found a tree someone stuck in the ice so I strapped the camera to it. Here are a few videos.

here is me going slow= wish I had few more seconds on the video.

I am part of a local car club group. This is what they do in winter for fun. They mainly do Autocross events in the summer/fall. I just go for fun and hang out with my brother and friends.
Here is a picture of the tires we made for my brother car :

(sorry, topic really has nothing to do with bowhunting, just thought I share something different I did with my trail camera to test out the sound and 720p setting)

Sounded like you had a good size turbo on the last video. I heard the spool and then the blow off valve I think. What kind of setup are you running?

The turbo actually is a stock unit but off a model year newer as it is a tad bigger. The car has a upgraded blow off vavle is the noise you hear (sneezing kinda haha).

Stock turbo'd cars with the right modifications can click off 11 second 1/4 mile times believe it or not :)

This car is a 2004 mitsubishi evolution all wheel drive turbo. It has full 3inch exhaust, upgraded intercooler(anodized black),upgraded intercooler pipes, ported throttle body and intake manifold. Bigger fuel injectors/fuel pump.
We just did this summer some upgraded camshafts (Gsc stage 2 cams) and vavletrain,ARP headstuds. Did the 60k service while we were in there( timing belt &water pump). Also added a ported exhaust manifold and a the ported stock 2005 turbo. Them turbos are a tad bigger on the exhaust side. Then a ported o2 housing. So the car "breaths" pretty good. Next step is a big aftermarket turbo, but it is a 4 door daily driver that hauls the baby around haha.

Took it to a shop in Illinois this fall and had it dyno tuned at 333hp/340tq to all 4 wheels. (took it to a other dyno that reads higher then the guys shop who tuned it we did 348 awhp)

Has a upgraded clutch and we rebuild the rear end= the factory installs the limited slip clutch packs backwards on purpose so people dont complain about basically a fully locked rear end.

Our first project 4 banger turbo car we built up and were pushing 500 all wheel horsepower and had it converted to e85. 3000lb all wheel drive car with that much power wasnt quite street friendly. Running close to 130mph in a 1/4 mile on street tires and no safety equipment besides a helmet.:poke:

here is another cool picture for those still reading my off topic rambling.

Awesome stuff! Besides shooting my bow and hunting, working on cars is another passion of mine so I always enjoy talking cars. Sounds like a fast ride! Always likes the Evolutions.

Dude, Evo 8 FTW. If you dont mind me asking, what shop did you use in IL?

My buddy has an '07 Subi WRX STI, he cannot keep up with most of the Evos he runs into. I thought I was the only guy into tuners on this site, nice to see otherwise :tu:

Boostin Performance. I highly recommend them.

I like wrx's too dont get me wrong, but you can make more horsepower easier on a Evo/Dsm

Here is a video of my brothers friend's EVO. Younger guy who used to build the motors for Briggs and Stratton racing division. So he built his Evo motor himself and helped us with the cams on my brothers Evo.
740hp on a "break in tune". He is going to Boostin for the final give it all she's got and keep it in one piece tune.

With some suspension work you could get your deer out of the woods with one of those cars. Really, really fast!

Thats some power right there. I would love to own a Evo but it's not practical for the things I do day in and day out.
