    I have bear boxes on all my cameras in northern Wisconsin. They have saved me more than one time. I have walked up on at least 4 or 5 cameras over the years that were laying on the ground. Only thing keeping them there was the chain holding the bear box to the tree.

    I think you would be hard pressed to find a high bear density then Wisconsin either. The research I have seen says only Alaska has a high population. So if the boxes work here they should work any place!

    Looking more and more like I might want to think about a bear tag for next year. This one definitely isn't BooBoo, Not sure if it is Yogi or Cindy though.
