Planned my vacation for October 31st- November 9th. Been looking forward to it for some time now. The deer from what I have been hearing are rocking all over the place in our area, but now next week it is going to be in the 50's and low 60's for a couple of days. Anyone have any luck when the temps are in the 50's and low 60's during the rut?

Those are highs for temps and the deer will be moving.

Hunt it. You'll be just fine.

Mother nature doesn't care what the temp is. When does are ready, bucks will be after them.

I think most of the deer I have killed during the rut has seen temps no cooler than 55 degrees. It's going to be in the 70's here for a few days early mext week but I'll still be out there.

You can watch me complain about it in the Live from the Stand thread stickied at the top of the forum.

One of the biggest bucks I ever had at 20 yards (and got away unscathed) was out tearing up scrapes on November 5 many years ago on a 70 degree day. Came out 2 hours before dark too.

I figured it would be just fine, but figured I would get some input.
