I just shoot the bow, and adjust the sight. The bowshop owner does a great job and it doesn't really cost that much why not support the local business?
Do you pay someone to fill your tank with gas? That's really how simple this is. Support your local gas station. Lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Matter of fact I have gone to a full service gas pump, and on occasion I use the valet parking at the airport.
So, why ask if the solution was already presented? Sounds like the pro shop owner is too busy to mess with something like this.
Like the other guys said, twist the d loop to line up with your peep. I bet you can fix it in 3 seconds. Waste of time for your shop
Sota, you shoot Vapor Trail strings right? Your local company. I use them too& my peep would twist when it was time to replace them (my shop told me the strings are great & don't stretch much, but when they start, it's time for new). My eyes are getting there too, so I tried shooting without a peep, making sure I had consistent contact points...299/300 in league last winter. I love not having a peep now.
if you have ever tried a rear sight and learn how it works you would never shoot a peep again. i cut the 2 top pegs out of mine and its more like a rifle sight and increases the field of view.also once it is set, if you cant or tilt your bow arm its like a level and it makes you improve your form and is more accurate.after i started wearing glasses a peep did not work for me.i wished these were around 25 years ago.
Do you have a link to how they work specifically? Sent from my SM-G930P using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app Edit found it, hindsightco.com
I am going out of town for 8 days going to drop my bow off when I get home well before I hunt my bow will be perfect.
Not necessarily. Sometimes the D-loop can move and just needs to be adjusted. When you get back from your trip let us know what the shop diagnosed as the issue and how they fixed it. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G930A using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
takes about 10 seconds to fix and 99% of the time, no additional tuning will have to take place. I would take it in..
For you, listen the bow should really be tuned and looked over before I hunt, I have the time so I decided to get it done. Sure I could have comfortably shot the way it is but like I said I have time.
