Well I finally pulled the trigger an spent some of my tax money. I wanted a Harley street bob but with the fiancé still in nursing school I really didn't want another payment. So my cousin called me up a few weeks ago an asked if I wanted to by his Ninja. Needless to say its mine now. It's an 06 ZX6R 636 special edition with 7,000 miles. Ended up getting it for half the blue book 2,200$ now I don't half to drive the gas guzzling truck everyday.

Here's a pick of my new gas saver.

Figured that was coming:) not the first street bike I've had. 20$ a week sounds a heck of alot better than 20$ a day.

I wasn't insinuating you would be the one to worry about. It's the maniacs behind the wheel I worry about. I would venture a guess that a large % of motorcycle accidents are of no fault of the motorcyclist at all. People are just inherently bad at driving these days...simple as that.

At least you can apply evasive maneuvers more efficiently:D

Seriously, have fun. Looks like a sweet bike.

Congrats on the new ride. I had one about 10 years ago and loved it. Would love to get another one someday but don't think that will ever happen.

I've had 4 sport bikes and a cruiser. I loved them all. I can't believe you picked that one up for $2200. I have to ask, salvage title?

I would like to find a shadow 600 for my commute. Not fast but gets ridiculous gas mileage and comfy.

    Congrats on the toy!

Stop putting ideas in my head! My work truck is a '95 Silverado and I spend about $45/week in gas so I'm thinking a bike like that would put me at about $15/week.

Congrats on the bike, and look out for people making Left turns in front of you. Sold my started bike GZ250, and hopefully replacing it with a Shadow Spirit 750.

Sport bikes are too quick for me.

Congrats and be safe, I have lost some great friends and in most cases it was the damn vehicles not watching. My last bike was a 93 GSXR 1000 with a 1206 motor, Nitrous and Flatslide carbs, I miss street racing on the Southside of the Chi but the wife went to school to be a radiology tech and saw too many bike accidents to argue my point in getting another one:(
