I have never liked summer. A lot of it has to do with the fact I don't like hot and humid weather, but I was thinking. The reason i really don't like summer... Its not fall

But the start of summer means we are one step closer to the start of fall! Positive thinking my friend, positive thinking!

i look at it as a time to get prepared for fall. such as planting food plots and practice shooting my bow.

I couldn't agree more... The heat, the humidity, the bugs... Just not my thing.

Summer is too short for me. I want more sunshine, warm weather, time in the garden, time on the water.

Fall is cold, garden dies, bare dirt and dried up stalks in the fields, it's depressing. Winter is worse.

I'm not much of a summer fan either. That being said, it was cool today and I prepped 3 stand sites on public land for this fall. Trying to make the best of it.

Being a teacher, I obviously enjoy my summer. For me, there's plenty of things in life other than hunting. I love the trips, picnics, remodeling projects, fishing, etc. Winter, on the other hand, is miserable.

Glad to see i'm not the only one disliking the heat/humidity. Cant wait to wear, hoodies, jackets, gloves, boots, I dont even mind scraping windows in the morning. I'm a big fan of winter.

I dislike summer only b/c I work in a place that gets so hot that it's almost unbearable on some of those 95-100 degree days.

Summer is a time for me to spend has much time with family as possible. Being the Fall/Winter I am hunting upwards of 70 days with Deer and Waterfowl season. Traveling without the family most of those days.

I like summer, I get to see all the potential shooters grow their antlers!

I love driving during the evenings in the summer just glassing the fields.

The only thing I like about summer is camping with the fam. otherwise I wish fall was about 7-8 months out of the year and summer the remaining months. I could do away with the whole winter thing too!

You should try living in FL for the summer. It was 104 outside 2 days ago humid and no wind. HOT!

I've been in Florida the last week of June and first week of July, that was miserable. If it wasn't 100 degress and raining, it was 120 degrees and 100% humidity. Never even had a chance to dry off there.

I like all the seasons in different ways.
Spring-everything is turning green again and the weather is awesome. Late spring, fawns are dropping. New generation on its way.
Summer-Beach time baby!!, Stand hanging and scouting. Hopefully next year I will have another boat! I am a water lover when its hot. Nothing like spending the day on the lake with a bunch of friends and a cooler of Miller light!! or the family minus the beer!!
Fall- Deer season baby!! need I say more?
Winter-Relief from the heat and a chance we may get to see some of the white stuff. Its beautiful around here when it does snow.
