    Well my girlfriend and I made it out to Kansas for a rifle hunt last week. It was a long road trip from Florida but worth every mile! Megan put a really nice 10 pt down! Had a great time can't wait to make a trip out there bowhunting. The buck was taken near Ogallah on a 200 acre partial. Beat by a girl again!:whip:

    Its a Winchester model 70 extreme weather chambered in 270. it looks and feels like a custom rifle. Fluted stainless barrel w/muzzle brake. She has a small frame and liked the muzzle brake on my 300wby. She can shoot it all day without a flinch. It's
    loud as heck ear protection required for sure!

    Wish I could have! Only had four days to hunt. I have had an awesome year so I can't complain. I got a 8pt opening weekend with the bow here in Florida and a Nice 5x5 muley in Colorado. A Kansas whitetail would have been the icing on the cake. Just glad to spend the time in the outdoors.
