Personally, I would not try the scent overload tactic. Most likely, the scent would alarm the deer and cause them to flee............. just like skunk scent does! :)

The marketing and claims they make are MUCH different IMO.

It claims right on their front page that this nose jammer is NOT a cover scent.

Silly to argue about but I see this as a step or two up from a simple skunk scent. :)

I'm picking up those acorn crunchers. A guy can simply not have enough acorn crunchers, make a scraper's, cough silencers, grunt tubes with rubber hose attached, or deer view mirrors. I take an extra duffle just to care my most critical gear! he he....

I had a doe nose jam into the side of my truck. She left snot and blood and dent in my door. I'm pretty sure we ran over her with the truck's rear wheel and the pontoon trailer wheels, so the nose jamming was probably the least of her problems. :(

The rep was trying to get us to use it in a way that works or that is creative why'll you hunt and record and the winner that he would choose will win a hunting trip through nose jammer i didn't believe it so i just walked away and my friend still wants to try this yet i told him your crazy but whatever

When I started using any type of scented anything last year is when I stopped seeing deer. I won't be using anything at all and def wont be buying this crap. Oh I emailed them and told them I didn't think it was worth buying and asked them a couple questions. Instead of answering them they reverted to giving me the link to testimonials from their website and the science behind it page again from their website. I read it and still know as much about it as I did before. Just thought if it was the real thing, they would be able to explain a couple simple questions. I was also interested to see what they would say. Here is the email I sent:

Message: I have a few questions about this product.
    1. If some of the natural chemicals in your product are found in clay then
why is it in NC where I live do deer still have the ability to smell
humans? If you are not familiar with the Carolinas, we have a ton of
"Carolina Clay" or Southern Red clay here.

    2. What types of trees have the same chemicals?

    3. Is this product legal in all states and are there any limitations on
using it with Pope and Young?

I honestly don't buy it. A product that kills deer sense of smell. I am
sorry. I just don't see this working or worth paying $15 a bottle. I get how
some could calm the nerves but, this is pretty unbelievable. Maybe the
answers to these questions will better help me get it.

    Thanks, Doug

    Here is their response:

    Doug,

Thank you for contacting us with your questions about Nose Jammer. Please see the attached pages with information regarding Nose Jammer and about Vanillin (which is the main product in Nose Jammer)

Nose Jammer isn't a cover scent, a lot of people are confused by this because the product is so brand new. The page "What is Nose Jammer will better explain this"

This product is legal for use in all states, we distribute all over the United States. Cabela's, Gander Mountain, ****'s Sporting Goods, and Bass Pro Shops are just a few of the major distributors that will be carrying Nose Jammer this fall.

The owner and inventor of Nose Jammer, John Redmond, tested this product for two years on his 4,000 acre property. John has an outfitting business, and saw remarkable results with Nose Jammer. This product does work, please read the testimonials on www.nosejammer.com.

If you have further questions after reading the attachments, please do not hesitate to contact us.

    Thank you,

No answer about Pope and Young or what trees have the same chemicals as they state in the DVD. No res[onse to my clay question either.

Of course the owner had great success on his 4000 acre farm. I would to if I thought it was going to make me millions.

Oh well, just confirms I won't be buying it!!!
