Northern IL - Bunch of different Bucks - Big boy returns.. I think.. Pic Heavy

So here are a bunch of different bucks taken off my 14acre woodlot in the last 2 weeks. I have a couple questions for ya... First, In the last 3 pics (2 were recent, 1 from last month) is that the same buck? In early July you can clearly see the split brow tine but in the recent pictures it is hard to tell. Body seems about the same. Thoughts? Second, why is the coloration of these deer so weird looking in the day shots, they look mangy and not healthy. The coloration seems funky. Is this normal or is something going on in this area? Thanks for looking!

There's nothing wrong with the deer. They are just shedding their summer coats.

Ya that one has a great spread on him. I am hunting in Kane County, IL near rt47. Good little spot with a lot of activity. Cannot wait till Oct 1.

 

Some good looking deer for sure.

 

Any thoughts on if those last 3 pictures are the same buck? And if so any guess on what that deer would score? 130ish? I'm clueless on scoring. I estimated it on B&C website and it said 149, I don't know how good my estimate was.

Not a bad assortment of different bucks. There's at leat a bright future with all those young ones. I think those 2 bucks are the same, the split brow is just kinda hidden, but still not 100%

 

Looking good Ks! Yes they are 2 different bucks. It is really hard to guess a score on them in velvet. They always look huge with lots of mass. I hope you kill one of them this season.

Of time into prep and practice and cannot wait. I'll spend plenty of hours in the stand this year. I am ready to go. Just setup a couple mock scrapes, let's see if this grabs any of these bucks attention. And man, of these are two different bucks then I really got some talent on this property. I thought they had to be the same deer, pretty similar rack.
