    YOU GUYS ARE SUCH IDIOTS!
LISTEN TO AN OLDER GUY-WE ALL ENJOY THE SPORT, BROUGHT TO US BY OUR FOREFATHERS. LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING ABOUT TEXAS DEER. I AM IN THE SAN ANTONIO AREA. IF YOU TRAVEL EAST, YOU HAVE HEAVIER BODY WEIGHTES AND SHORTER TINES, BUT WITH HEAVIER ANTLERS. GO SOUTH, AND YOU HAVE MASSIVE ANTLERS (UP TP 200 INCHES) BUT SMALLER BOBY WEIGHTS (DEPENDING ON WHAT KIND WEATHER WE HAVE). GO WEST, WE HAVE THOUSANDS OF DEER THAT WILL SCORE IN THE 130's. NO NOT GREAT BIG. BUT YOU WILL NEVER HAVE MORE FUN IN A CAMP THAT YOU HAVE EVER HAD! YEAH WE LIKE OUR DRINKS AND FOOD! I DARE ANY OF YOU TO CUT THAT DOWN!----------------GOD BLESS TEXAS

Take it from someone who's experienced both. The North "mid west" gets bigger better healthier deer, better scenery, all around better climate, better drinkers, better construction, and more "good ol' boys" per square mile. The South gets, rediculously hot, better looking women(sorry but the long winters make for fat chicks), smaller weeker deer heards, swamps, snakes and insects galor, more deer, far worse scenery, stench, deases, shaks on the side of the road that have the nerve to call themselves a "bussinuss",and a bunch of folks who "lost there tooth brush". Although there are still some good ol boys there there much harder to find in all the swamp and pine trees.

Meh I've killed whitetails in both places there both alright to me. It is true that the North has bigger animals but the south has bigger fish.

People that come here to WV to hunt that are from places like Tennessee, North Carolina and a lot of other more flat landed states ask that question a lot. My opinion is states with more mountains have bigger deer since they're running and jumping up bigger hills producing more muscle and have a lot of room to move around and stuff.
