That is similar to Buckeyes Rule:

The Midwest people are normal and exceptional deer hunters. The further North you get from the Midwest, the weirder people get but are still good deer hunters... The further South you get from the Midwest... The slooooower people get and completely lack any sort of whitetail hunting skills.

This explains why Midwesterners and Northerners shoot big deer but our Southern brothers don't.

In the south we starve them (pine needles are not good nurishment) then we release the guns and hounds right from the beggining. We chase em with guns for over 3 months, and up to 5 in some areas. In the North ya'll complain about 9 day gun seasons, and 3 day slug gun seasons...then you cut all the trees down, replace it with grass that is 3 inches high or food in the form of corn or soybeans. They have to live in 2 acres woodlots, put up 2 lock ons and BAM 300000 deer come by every morning and every evening. Then you have quotas and draws and age requirements, we only need a rebel flag, a pickup and a spotlight and 5 of your best un moralic buddies (not sure if that is a phrase, but down hear we make up the language as we go anyway)...shoot em all or the other guy will:tu:

I hear those Northern boys talk about how hard a late season deer is, down south (in my best southern drawl) our deer act like late season deer from the start:ninja:

But I will tell you this, if my boy from North carolina was around, we would tell you why were superior:cry: and we would prove it....I was a bad jedi and I am just to soft to fight superior numbers.

I've actually found this to be true, and I have lived in the North and the South.

    My words are gospel.

We lack the skills you have right? Then why can a Southern go north and take a monster; yet a northern go South and can't catch anything but a cold? Something is wrong with this picture huh? Try your "stalking" in the South and you'll get some whitetail buttox in your face! The deer up north are like the deer at the petting zoo! Sit back and learn, boys!

As you travel to the Midwest, you will cross a line of whitetail supremacy.... As you cross that line you too will be over come with it. While you are in the Midwest you will have the "whitetail stank".... You will possess an aura of whitetail superpowers while you hunt the Heartland.

When one travels South and crosses that same line, it sucks all whitetail skills from you and replaces them with love... The love of lifted up 4x4's, pecan pie, fried chicken, watermelon and gator wrestling.
