Does anyone know if there's a way for a non resident to take a crossbow safety course that satisfies Maine's requirements without actually going to Maine to take it. I'm from PA and will be going on a guided bear hunt in 2018 but can not find a crossbow safety course around here. Thank you
Looks like you need a bow hunter class and a crossbow hunter class. But it does not state that it has to be the Maine one... just a class! You can take a online class from New York for the crossbow and a bow hunter in Pa and you should be covered.
