non monster mounts?

    For a lot of people, I'd say that sentiment may play as much of a role in having things mounted as their headgear...

    NY, I say go for it!

    The buck on the right was my first buck taken on our/grandfathers farm. I would pass on that buck now but at the time it was my biggest and I mounted it as a tribute to my grandfather. He's a WWII vet and turns 100 in April. He isn't doing so good at the moment in the nursing home but I will always remember his face when I would get a turkey or deer and bring it up to the farm house. He would always tell me that there isn't any deer/turkey in them woods and I would try to prove him wrong everytime. The excitement on his face for me always brought a smile to mine.

    If it was worth pulling the trigger on its worth putting on the wall trophy is in the eye of the beholder I'll be mounting my 91"4x4 1st archery buck I took this year and will be more then proud to show him off.
