I have a 5 pin fiber optic sight non lighted. Is there a way to add a light or do I have to buy a new sight?

you could buy a battery operated light for a sight. Drill out your sight housing and tap the hole to the same threads as the light you buy. Then just screw it in. The housing on most sights is thin enough that you may not even need to tap the hole. You might be able to just screw in the light and allow it to self-tap.

Buy a black gold and you wont ever need a light!! Drilling the housing is a bad idea because then the light will flood your whole housing with light, not just the fiber optics, making it pretty much useless because you wont be able to see the deer very well

Had a sight with a light never used it, played with it some, than put on a IQ I figured if I need a
Light it's past legal shooting time anyway ( IMHO )

I tossed the light from my Sword sight. If I can't see my pins that usually means it is too early or too late. Pa has strict shooting times and I follow them. Good luck.

I will take a picture of it and post I am hunting during shooting hours just early in the am at first light I would like to be able to light them a bit. My vision close up is not the greatest and I think it would help me focus better. I may just run to the archery shop and see what they suggest.

Really decent sights you won't need a light. I know with mine they are bright before shooting time and still bright way after shooting time. I actually took the batteries out of my light just so I don't run them down.
