    That walleye was a good one. Big hen in the 11 lb range. Nice call on the copper john and yes, I tie flies. Here is another pic of the big walleye caught by my brother.

    Vito you stud!!!!! I miss hitting the fly waters like i used too but this filming is keeping me busy. My brother and some buddies were up on the PM and hooked up a bunch but landed 0.. They suck!!!Walt

    I didn't notice before, but the 3rd pic. looks like a VERY nice male brown?
    Again, great photos.
    I'm getting the fever now, guess I'll wrap up a few flies and dream ......

    That would be correct. Resident browns are always a nice bonus when steelhead fishing around here.

    The cold doesn't really bother me. The dead of winter is some of my favorite time to fish because most guys stay home where it's nice and cozy. I usually don't fish if the high is going to below 25 though. The water temps are usually in the low 30s at that time. If you dress properly, it's not bad. As long as the rivers aren't frozen, we're out there.

    I'll actually be doing my first trout fishing (ever) this weekend. Should be interesting. Love the fact that I get to start early.
