Hello guys and ladies of Bowhunting! First off I am new too the site but far from a beginner yet always still learning. I will start with explaining how my issue started.I in the last many years have been blessed with all 145 plus inch bucks and as we all know that bucks like those are not easy on public lands.Needless too say I had a pse firestorm that I harvested a 158 inch last year with. After the last two seasons I decided I was due too upgrade too a new bow.I went with the Mathews creed xs decked out with a AAE limb activated arrow rest and the react site and so on. I also went too the equalizer release aid and that is what the issue is and any help would be greatly appreciated. When I draw the bow the leather wrist strap makes a sound like someone moving with a leather coat on. Is there anything I can do or use too silence the strap? I like the release and the bow shoots great! As we all know its little things like that noise that can ruin your day when a mature buck walks in and they are far and few between on public lands. Thanks everyone who takes time too read my post.

Not familiar with the release, but am familiar with breaking in baseball gloves (which are also leather).

    Try these.

    Saddle soap
    Shaving cream.

    Personally, I prefer saddle soap.

DO NOT throw it in a microwave.

If you have a big box sports store near you, call them and ask them if they still have their "glove steamer" set up. If they do, take it in and steam it in the steamer.
