What's up guys and Christine I'm still here! Ready to again slay the competition :) put some serious time in this summer seen a few dandys so far. All public for me so been burning some serious leather to get into untouched spots hung about 9 stands and trimmed a ton of trees to hop in with my muddy. Nice to see everyone is back - Looking good! sorry I'm late!

And that my team mates is the fastest we have wrangled up!

    Hmm, signs to come?

So I'm really excited about this season. After Saturday I'm not so sure that my wife will make opening day. My brother in law has T-Rex arms and Jess's bow fits him well. I was down range and heard that infamous .22 caliber sound come from the firing line. Yep. He dry fired her bow. 4 week old Carbon Rose is down until strings and cables come in. He paid for it on the spot but, man it sucks. She has been moping around like a child who's dog was ran over since. I feel awful for her.

This may mean in the woods alone opening day or she may be behind the lens.

Either way, 3 weeks and counting down!

Oh and anyone who wants to enjoy some tree stand texting, please PM me your phone numbers. My last phone lost it's battle with old age and I lost all my contacts.

Someone text me about the team thread. Who was that so I can save your number?

Haha, were the talk of the Forum :) I think if we can pull it off, BH.com needs to have some custom made 3-peat shirts made up for us!!!!

i must say, the buck on the right (circled) really has me intrigued... its just fuzzy enough on the picture to make me wonder... but clear enough to know he's a shooter.

this camera is set up in the funnel shown (fence crossing) 10 yards from my evening stand.

I think if we do, we should be crowned the royal family of Bowhunting. A shirt with all three years scores printed with all our names and they should be sold to the masses.

If I hunt the property I have cameras out on I could pop a doe opening morning easy but, I'll save those deer for just in case.

Me and my wife set up our first film set today. I plan on taking my bow also opening day and maybe film her first kill and make it a double kill all on film. If nothing else we will have a good morning being together in the stands. I put a 15' ladder and hung a lock on above it with the base about head high when she is standing up.

    I hope it works.

STICKS, Not trying to tell you how to set up but I'm going to throw my two cents in anyways. The base of your camera stand should be 1 ft above the seat of the shooting stand. This will allow you to film right over the shooters head plus have you close enough for easy communication. Filming right over there head will provide the camera with a line of sight thats near to the shooters. This will allow you to have a better chance to stay on the same page but in the end talking to each other is the most important step.

I'll drop it down opening morning then. I was also thinking about a double shot but, I guess I could hang on the right hand side of the tree just in case and it would put me at an even better angle. I have it on the left side of the tree now because that's the way deer usually come in. With it being a hang on, it won't take but, just a minute to change it around once we get out there.

I decided to do it today so that I wouldn't be making all kinds of racket and taking forever to get set up opening morning. Should be a good set up now.
