I was tuning my new rest today (trophy ridge revolution) due to the factory one falling apart and my fletchings not clearing. During this i had to move my tru nock d-loop several times. Upon finally getting it where i needed it my nocks wont hold in the string very tight. They stay on but i dont get that reassuring click and are looser than they used to be. Tried several nocks from my other arrows and they are the same so i tried nocking it higher and it clicks in nice and tight. I think my serving is mashed down in my nocking area from the d-loop so question is what do i do? Sorry for any gramatical errors i am doing this from my phone.

Go to your local pro shop and have the serving redone don't chance an arrow coming off and a dry fire happening. Most shops don,t charge that much and it would a heck of alot better than blowing up your bow.

Will that whole serving need replaced? Or can i replace a small section of it or possibly add serving over that current mashed down area? Dunno if that would be too thick. If so can i do that myself? I served in my rest string today. If not guess i will find a good pro shop anyone know of any in cincinnati or fairfield ohio area? Thanks guys. P.s. once again this is from my phone :)

I think its generally best to replace the entire serving, keeps things neat and uniform. Plus its almost as easy to replace the whole thing as it is to patch the section up.
You were near me I would doing in for you, its a one good beer job.

I am gonna tackle this myself, will i need to replace with the same length of serving they had on there or can i use less? also how do you guys serve? last one i did i ran a piece up the bow string then served back down it, tied the two ends together when i got back to the start and melted it.

Go to youtube there are many videos on how to replace your serving. The best thing is you can replay it as many times as you want.
