how do you solve nock pinch? I have some every so often it seems. the arrow will lift up but then settle down into the rest, but I don't like it at all. I have serving on top and under the nock. then the knots for the D loop. it wasn't a problem at all for the longest time , but now it's happening too much. any suggestions?

Have you tried to tie the nock sets a bit further apart? I had issues cause I love to use bohning double lock nocks, I solved it by gapping the nock sets a bit.

I have not Ben. I noticed if I wiggle the the arrow up and down while on the string 2 or 3 times before I shoot it it won't pinch...I will look at closer and see what I can do, but I don't know why it all of sudden started doing it.. Thanks Ben I will play with it some....the nock set that is...:deer: :d

Yeah, let's just keep it to the nock set.:moose:

Use soft nocks. Put your nock on the string and tie a little "bump" of serving slightly above and below the nock. Put your D-loop on the outside of the "bumps." This will keep the loop from pinching the nock completely. Just make sure you leave enough room on top and bottom of the nock so the bumps dont pinch at full draw.

Also, you can tie the bump directly below the nock (no gap) and time the other one a little higher above the nock. This will keep the nock from "floating" when it's on the string.

that or get your bow reserved and if you shoot a loop, that can be the problem too. Maybe time for a new one.

It may be that your serving has loosened up and allowed your nocksets to be pushed in tighter to the nock. The way to solve it is to remove and retie the lower nockset or completely reserve the string and start from scratch.

I looked it over today and after wiggling some room with my arrow it seemed to do the trick. we'll see if it holds, if not will reserve. Thanks gents!
