Slow for me as well. Seen two doe that somehow came from the wrong direction. I didn't expect to see anything to be honest, the wind was really rocking. On call tomorrow. Hopefully back out on Thursday afternoon. Good luck guys.
The truck is loaded and I'll be starting the 4 hour trip to Windsor, MO shortly. I'm looking forward to this hunt.
Hey Brothers just a little update. It is prerut here in north central Kansas. I have seen loads of deer. No shooter bucks yet. Tuesday I had an 8 and 10 pt ( young basket racks) within 30 yds. Yesterday I had another 8 with in 7 yds (young as well). Both days does everywhere. This morning had 4 does and three fawns within 30 yds, also had a spike at 10 yds. Hopes are high thus far. Sounds like a great trip so far Russ. Looks like a great set up. Someday I need to get down there and do some deer hunting ( and duck hunting). Safe travels LC I have the buck decoy out tonight on the winter wheat field. I Don’t think it’s to early for it but the conditions could be better. I had a decent sit this morning and moved a stand.
