Looks like enough agree. Nock Em and Drop Em it is. Any dissenters can speak now or forever hold your peace. Then I or whoever is going to be captain can let Fitz know.

Wait... This just came to me. Like it or don't, either way doesn't matter but it made me chuckle.
What about Rock Out With Your Nock Out.

    Team 12 - Official Thread

I sent a PM to the three that still haven't checked in on Friday and told them to get checked in by the end of the weekend. So if they haven't checked in by tonight we need to get 3 alternates and a team name so we're all official. As of now the plan for the team name is "Nock 'Em and Drop 'Em". Any dissenters have until the end of the day today. Also when we request alternates and establish a name we need to assign a team captain. Like I said before I'll gladly do it but don't want to step on any toes so just make sure everyone is good with it.
Once that's all done we can get down to the business of killing stuff. I read last year the winning team averaged 100 points per person. Seems pretty doable.

I thinkjust for the sake of time SuperKirby should be captian it only seems logical he is on top of things right now. also i hope those other guys check in because i know a few teams have almost everyone checked in and some big bucks in their pics. i definatly think we have a good chance at getting this done !!!!!!

Down at the farm boys doing some last minute work. I've been holding off posting my hit list this year until I pulled cameras. I'm very pleased with what I have :tu: I'll post pics later

    Ok I'll do it.

And yeah, we need a team logo or picture or something. How will people know we're hardcore if we don't have one? Unfortunately I have slightly less artistic talent than a drunken monkey so if someone can make that happen that would be swell.

Otherwise I have to work late tonight so when I get home I'll get everything official like and get us 3 alternates. I keep hoping the 3 left on our team will jump in so I'm putting it off. Maybe it's better to get alternates though and hopefully get guys that have a little more interest in being part of the team?

    Sounds exciting!
I went out and checked my food plots last night. 2 are coming along nicely. The big one is getting there though not as quick. It doesn't help that the area of it closest to the stand I have on it is under water.
I also got both my cameras up and running again so hopefully I'll have some pictures soon. I need to plan a work day to get a few stands moved around and I'll check them again, then it won't be until I go out hunting.

yes I hunt in PA. to get away from pressure you have to hunt deep. I bike 2 miles then walk another 3/4 mi. PA does get a ton of pressure but I have learned to find the weaknesses where guys don't go. where I hunt it has taken me about 15 yrs to find where the big bucks hang out.

    Way to be dedicated man.
I've always wondered about the states that "don't have big deer" or too many hunters. I mean, it seems like there's always got to be places that people don't go. Honestly up until these last couple years, I kind of kept to the main easy to access areas of our farm. Now the last 3 years we've started focusing on the back half and trying to focus on a few key areas and we're finding out there's some decent 8's and 10's back there. And there's still 40 acres I haven't really started exploring yet.

    ... It's... He's... You're going to shoot that, right?

I've never seen a deer with a beer belly before. Er, corn belly I guess.

Also sent Fitz a message proclaiming our new found identity and asking for 3 replacements for the no shows. Hope to get this thing rolling real soon!

Looks like a good time. Sadly I've never been able to gain an interest in fishing in MN. Did it once and that was enough for me.

That was quick. We are officially Team Nock 'Em and Drop 'Em. On the downside there's no alternates being assigned until on or around September 1st so we'll roll with what we got for now.

What's everyone hunting with this year?
