Hey Team 12.! My name is Jason and I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan however, I do most of my hunting in Central Wisconsin. I'm fortunate enough to own and hunt 120 acres with my best bud and typically we have a bruiser (140"-170") or two on the hit-list... I'm good for a doe at the least considering I have 6 mouths to feed and they all love venison. Looking forward to an awesome season and getting to know and share stories with everybody... after all that's what it's all about.!
I went and checked my food plots tonight. The two that I care about the most are coming in nicely. The big one is sparse but they've only been planted about a week and a half. Forgot to get batteries for the trail cams though
This is one of mine. Best plot we have ever had and its 1st year clover. Can't wait to see it the next couple of years! Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
That looks pretty awesome. Our big plot is about 2 1/2 acres and we're considering planting most of it in clover next year. It was too wet this summer to get equipment back there and till it like we wanted so it's just what we could do with round up and a four wheeler. The two smaller ones are planted in Whitetail Institute Secret Spot. I took a couple pictures but don't know how to post them from my phone so will have to wait until I get to a computer.
I downloaded the Tapatalk app to my phone and it makes commenting and posting pics so much easier. Its a free app too. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
Is the tapatalk app different than the bh.com app? I guess I just assumed they were the same. Guess I should look.
can't wait to check my cameras. rain has me held up. can't cross the creek to get to them. here is my #1. that was in july and I'm sure he is a lot bigger now.
I hunt only public land and been after him for a couple years now. good thing is that this year I have pics of him coming and going from the clearcut. good news for me hopefully!
They are different. Tapatalk you can use in any forum you can think of. I've used from everything between Bowhunting.com to Ram Truck forums. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk
This is my honey hole where I had this guy come through in mid June. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's a real nice looking deer. Hope you get more pics of him, preferably with your hands on his rack.
Everything is looking good guys! I'm limited in time again, but I worked out a lot of kinks in my bowhunting progress last year. I've still been very new, but I learned a TON last year.
Looks like we're still missing 4 guys. I'll give them today then PM them and give them a couple more days. Once we have the full team assembled we can get a team name and make it official so we can start winning this thing.
