If your not all about thrills and just want basic functions but quick trigger speed. Wildgame has a camera that I think is exclusive to Field and Stream that run about $40 to $45 called the Axe 5. Those are the ones I use. All the cam pics I've posted on here have come from them so you can get an idea of picture quality.

Definitely not looking for fancy. Just something I can put in the woods and leave all year. Ideally something that doesn't burn through batteries too quick.

I have some spypoints that are getting worn out. I also some browning strikeforce hd cams and by far the best I've had yet. I've had the stealth cams, the bushnells, and the wildgame cams and they were ok but nothing like the brownings.

I've only changed the batteries once on mine. I think they are awesome for the money.

It's Thursday, votes are tallied and logo 2 is the clear winner.

That didn't work. I'll try again when I get to a computer at work. Anyway the link should get you to a little cleaner version of the logo

That is the one you voted for. But you were the only one that voted for it. Unless everyone else meant to vote for the same one?

Watch ****s sporting goods. They have wildgame cams for as low as 39.99 sometimes. They seem to be decent runners. Like was said before, pic quality isn't art show worthy, but they're good for the 40 bucks I spent on them.

That's not a bad deal. I'll keep an eye on them. It seems around here usually January and February are about the best times to get good deals on stuff. My wife is a runner and buys a lot of stuff from there so I'm sure I'll end up there at some point.

What does everyone think about exchanging numbers so come hunting season we can get all the "I got a text" threads going. Fiured it might be a little easier to keep in touch come hunting season if go that route. If everyone is comfortable doing so PM me your number (unless you want to put it here) and I'll get a list going and send it to everyone.
