Well, Kobe Bryant, Tracy McGrady and Kevin Garnett don't, as well as others in the NBA circle. Does that say something about the integrity of the sport if some of the great players/coaches dont feel the $100 million Miami Heat big 3 get any credit for chasing/breaking records? Or is everyone just jealous of how that deal is turning out? Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk 2
I think it's pretty cool. And I think the NBA cirlce is saying that to be PC. Looks like it's coming to a halt tonight at the hand of the Celtics though. Impressive run and how does a team plan on beating them in a 7 game series playing the way they are now? Yikes!
Still going. While a win streak is somewhat impressive, I don't think it really matters unless its to start the year and they can beat Chicago's '95-'96 72-10 season. That's the mark to beat, and not sure it will ever happen. All records are made to be broken, but some rule changes allow them to happen or not happen.
Hey.... I don't normally follow pro basketball until they get near the end of the season and playoffs. This streak had really got me kind of hyped. I'd never watch a game this early I the year.... but I damn sure had the Boston/Miami game on my schedule for the night. I watched the whole thing. That's not my normal way... but it was entertaining... the ebbs and flows of it all. The Heat is really in a zone of their own. If for some crazy reason or injury they don't win it all this year... it will be disappointing. They're really on fire. I've finally become a LeBron fan. He is a physical very talented man among boys. How can you not appreciate his talent.. unless of course you live in Ohio or Cleveland. LOL Sorry Ohio... he took his talents to South Beach.
Great game tonight. Lebron absolutely destroyed Terry with that dunk and the celts in general w his overall play. No one in the world is even close to his level of play right now
I think people expect the streak. It's not like It's a surprise. Lebron Is playing unbelievable right now as Is the rest of the team. No one will beat the Heat come playoff time besides the Heat.
I dont' find myself watching much NBA. But like davidmil said, I've been drawn to the Heat lately with what Lebron and the Heat are doing. I watched the whole game last night and actually enjoyed it. Just the energy they are playing with is far different than most teams in the NBA during the regular season. They were going at it hard and seemingly with heart. Seemed like a playoff atmosphere last night. And as far as Lebron goes? WOW! How on earth do you contain a dude like that?
The fact that you can't spell the most impactful player in the world's name right makes it hard to take your posts seriously.
Of course none of the current players (excluding McGrady) are going to be impressed about the Heat's streak. Anyone with a heart who competes against these guys isn't going to bend over and say, "Wow! These guys are great! Sure hope they keep embarrassing the entire league every night!" That said, Houston's coach, Kevin McHale, actually said he'd like to see the streak continue just because of how impressive it is and it's neat to follow. I agree with him. Nobody is going to beat the Heat in a 7 game series this year, and I think it's a cool thing to keep up with because they're playing at an incredibly high level, and enjoying every minute of it. As far as Lebron is concerned, it's actually unfortunate that he's playing at such an incredible level because we as fans have started to take his greatness for granted. Anyone else in the league has to work their tail off to put up his numbers, and he does it every night while making it look insanely easy.
