If that's real, then I definitely understand why he wouldn't run lol. I don't think I would even be in the game still if I looked like that, and I think I have a pretty high pain threshold. When I was younger I broke a bone along the edge of my foot while playing soccer and stayed in the game, but it hurt like a you know what the next morning when I woke up. Maybe his was the same kind of thing.

i saw this too, i dont really agree with Bus posting the pics. Bus and i are cool but it should've been Bret's decision. i dont think he wanted this out there... nobody should question anyones decision to do or not to do on the field! i know we as fans have a STRONG belief of what SHOULD happen, but it comes down to the athlete making the decision. Brett didnt post these because he would NEVER NEVER use this as an excuse.

bottom line the agent was just protecting his player's rep.... that is his/her job

It was to send his team to the super bowl, and it was his choice to play. RUN.
Or, he should have told Chilly he couldn't if he wasn't going to do what was best for the team.

Even TWhack would have known that.

I was just starting to forget about this....:(

with all the BS out over the internet and false reports, i'm not very inclined to believe for one second that's favre. a pic of an ankle and a thigh??? so cause some guy says it's him i should believe it, i don't think so. it very well could be him, but believing a photo with no face is foolish. even if it had a full pic of him it could have been photoshopped or altered.
with that being said i'm sure he was beat up after the game, and probly alot of the games..... so does that make him different than any of the other guys playing with injuries? he has the longest games started streak, and i doubt anyone will ever top it. he is a trooper and has my respect for that. but i hate the vikes so....... :)

mn/kyle, i didnt see it, but maybe he didnt think he could make it, maybe he saw something we didnt, maybe on and on and on and on. he didnt run it, doesnt mean that one play lost the game... its hard for just one play to lose an entire game. i will say this, an injured farve is better than a healthy tavaris or sage. remember...thats why yall brought him in. those two could not have gotten that team as far as they went, thats why farve went back out. his team do or die. just didnt happen this time.

he is my fav QB of all time and every time he grabs the rock he still scares the crap outta me!!!! my dad, mom and sister still live in MN and asked me what they can take from this season.... i told them be glad they got to the NFC champ game cause there are 28 other teams that wish they were there instead of sitting at home. not any team's wish to make it there (wish should be super bowl victory) but hang your hat that it came down to you and another in the nfc

I would just like to see his face with those pictures.

I learned a long time ago to not believe everything I see on the internet.

damn right and who wants to see pics of every guy's bump and bruises after each game???? that's why i have a prob with Bus putting these out there. (IF HE DID) if that were the case Drew Rosenhaus and the other agents would be posting every Monday of a player's contract year saying, "this is why my player didnt play well!"

playing with pain is part of the game, not just football. ask the mlb pitchers how their arm feels come october.

injuries should be kept "in house" and not talked about. the league mandates that you have to release on wednesday (probable, questionable, did not participate and so on) leave it at that...

sorry vegas sports books thats just my opinion.

I agree isaiah, but, the Super Bowl is this weekend and the Favre camp has to give em something to talk about instead of the 2 teams that are playing in the actual game! :D You know the Me, me, me, more ME syndrome! :D:D:D

What the hell does it matter. If one of the most worshipped and self proclaimed running back in the league learns how to ever hold on to a ball this game never comes down to that play to begin with. Farve didn't lose that game. Mr. Petterson did by puting him in that position to begin with. The Viks should have on that game by at least 14 pts. if not for WD-40 fingers. But, that is neither here nor there...so just let the whole thing die already and brace ourselves for one of the mosted hated Superbowls every.

I guess maybe not for you. Being a Bears fan I would just a soon seen the Saints swept away with Hurricaine Katrina and I put the Colts right up there with the Yankees as far as me disliking any one sports team.
