I will not judge the actions of another if I am not there to witness his actions occur. FOr judging actions in which one did not witness, is mere speculation. I personally have never been involved in a shooting on duty but I have had fellow officers go through this. It's never pretty. A fellow officer that I work alongside, recently shot a guy that was armed with a knife. He had been on the force for around 10 years and had a good reputation. After the shooting, the majority of the public disagreed with his actions even though, per our police academy training, it was text book use of deadly force. He was later acquitted by a grand jury.
CNN is comical on this. There is a rally in Ferguson today in support of officer Wilson. The organizer just read a prepared statement on why they are doing it and such, mainly to stop the media bias, wouldn't give her name just said what is my name, it's Darren Wilson, we are Darren Wilson. This didn't set well with the anchor, she kept implying that they don't have the facts, they're just assuming facts that Wilson was justified. How can they say he was justified when his account hasn't been made public. Earlier she had pointed out that it appeared all the supporters appears to be white. She was upset he lady wouldn't give her name or relationship to Wilson. Kettle meet pot, pot......
Forgot to add, when she ended the segment she told the field reporter Thank goodness it has been a peaceful protest and hoped it remained that way. Not sure if she meant Brown supporters showing up or the Wilson supporters becoming unruly.
CNN is a joke, along with many of the big news outlets, it's really not surprising to hear that's how that interview played out. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
My thoughts on this are: Why is everybody questioning WILSON's Decisions??? Doesn't it seem that Brown had many opportunities to make better decisions during the last hour or so of his life, that maybe if he'd made a couple better decisions, Wilson wouldn't have been forced to "execute" him. I am amazed by the number of people who are wanting to crucify this cop for trying to do his job, and act like the deceased was some sort of saint or something.... People need to be HONEST with themselves, and look at REALITY!!!
^^ Amen! I nearly vomited while watching a small segment of funeral coverage on the news. It went something like this: "WE HAVE TO REMEMBER MICHAEL BROWN FOR......... (everything, except for strong-arm robbery, intimidation of anyone within his vicinity, "allegedly" shattering a police officer's eye socket with his fist and trying to gain control of his firearm). Can't wait to see what happens when either an indictment is not handed down, or Ofc. Wilson is quickly found 'Not Guilty' after the world's newest, most ridiculous criminal trial.
Autopsy report(expert opinions on it) and first detailed accounts from Wilson finally out there Official autopsy shows Michael Brown had close-range wound to his hand, marijuana in system : News Source: Darren Wilson says Michael Brown kept charging at him : News
Now they are protesting inside the STL County PD. Don't any of these people work? Ferguson protesters march inside St. Louis County Police Department | FOX2now.com
Now the government reports evidence backs the officer. Wonder if anyone is going to apologize....im betting not.
To hell with an apology, there are several in this state that need to resign. Starting with that undermining sack of crap Jay Nixon.
Also 6-7 black witnesses told government investigators that what they witnessed corroborated Wilson's testimony..except they are too afraid to come forward publicly.
Sadly, Ferguson is going to burn again. The hoodlums who looted, rioted, shot at and otherwise created havoc with everyday citizens and law enforcement have already been conditioned that it is acceptable to do so. They have been pampered and catered to from the governors office to the white house that as long as the jury is out they can continue to break the law without fear of prosecution. From Highway Patrol captain Johnson taking over and marching him and his officers with the protestors, Eric Holder going to Ferguson and the media bias night after night they now feel that they are in the right and above the law. They are of the belief that they are right because they have been allowed to do so. I would hate to see the stockpile the thugs have accumulated between then and now in preparation for their next move. The initial outrage while incited by some, was more of a reactional uprising. This next one will be more organized, calculated and premeditated.
A lot of speculation the decision will be announced tomorrow. Schools are closing all week extending the Thanksgiving holiday in preparation that it does. News/Talk KZRG - School District Near Ferguson Cancels Classes Monday & Tuesday It's old news, but it's about to be regenerated on a new level regardless of decision, but especially if Wilson is not indict3d
I agree. They will riot no matter the verdict! I sure hope the thought of riots would NOT influence the verdict but sadly it may.
There is no way I'll be crossing the river anytime soon after this is released. I'm off the next 10 days, so I'm perfectly content with sitting in the woods while the hood rats run amok throughout all of St. Louis. Concerts are cancelled, holiday shoppers are staying home, schools are letting out early for Thanksgiving, and it's still probably going to be an absolute mess.
