I think we found him, but unfortunately, they won't like to hear him...

A very good take on the root of the problem from Jonathan Gentry...

I'm a LEO. The way that the police have been thrown under the bus is extremely upsetting to me and everyone else. I have never once met a police officer that went on duty looking to shoot someone. Tensions are extremely high for law enforcement officers all over the country following what is taking place in Ferguson.

I agree Jacob. Last week I attempted to take a drunk trespasser into custody and when I approached him he said, "are you going to kill me?". It was frustrating and he used that to try to keep me from investigating. I didn't fall for it and we found keys to a stolen car in his pocket and found the stolen car not 50 yards away from where we took him into custody. It was not fun hearing that guy make that comment.

And it's only going to get worse. The media doesn't report any good things that LEO do everyday. They only report the very few questionable things that happen. Stay safe and watch your back. The retaliation on police is only going to get worse.

One of our biggest hurdles is figuring out a way to get HONEST and TRUTHFUL media reports to try to keep people civil and make sure FACTUAL information is being disseminated, rather than the lies that are being espoused by people out there. And even when the FACTS are shown in the face of people, they still for some reason cannot bring their conscience to accept that they have been WRONG, not "WRONGED." The Trayvon Martin shooting was a CLASSIC case of a JUSTIFIED HOMOCIDE, but because it was a "white/hispanic" shooting a "black child," it had to turn into a huge civil rights and national story. When all the truth's were exposed, it was a VERY simple and easy case for the defense to defend. They'd have needed to go no further than the original Bill of Rights of this country and it was over. The lawyers who took that to court should have been dis-barred and suffered HEAVY punishment for not upholding the basic laws that our country was founded on. Likewise if this situation EVER goes to court, the prosecutor should be dis-barred and have the heaviest punishment available levied on him/her if it is true that Wilson had suffered the reported injury and/or it can be proven that Brown was charging him as has also been reported. Sadly common sense is not longer very "common," and the ideological black racists in this keep seeing situations like this as opportunities to stir unrest rather than try to solve this TRUE problem at it's root. In both this and the Trayvon Martin case, both of these young black men made some terrible decisions that lead to their premature deaths, however, in both cases they were both "ASSAILANTS," not victims from what I've read and sorted through.

I just want to know why does it always come back to race..... police officer and criminal why is it black and white everyone always has to look at that and form opinions before they even know what happened and that's when these things get out of control. I live 40 minutes away from it all and even around here I wish people would educate themselves on a topic before they go making a fool out of themselves.

This will be a ridiculously drawn out event thats just going to drag America further down the tubes. With the video evidence of the two guys talking about Brown turning back and going after the cop after he had broken a bone in the cops face by punching him. I side fully with the police officer. Brown also got ahold of the cops gun and tried to fire it at him but the bullet didn't meet its mark and struck somewhere inside the officers car.

By no means would i like to see anyone killed in any situation but of all the evidence thats been coming out, the officers hard no other choice in my opinion. I think Brown would have eventually ended up killing him, we will never know the truth and its sad to see that people have to act like that to point of a police officers life being threatened to the point where he has to use his weapon. Theres just no excuse for behavior like that from Brown or whoever acts like that.

Furthermore I would like to say SCREW media and news teams. They are exactly why these kinds of situations start out the size of a little flame and turn into a fire across the country. I bet the "Looters and Thieves" would have hardly done anything if they didn't know that they would be the only thing talked about in America for the next 6 months. But after all those people are the lowest form of scum on this earth and need to just go away. What a way to supposedly "Remember" someone by looting, stealing, and burning buildings.

On a related note, I actually drove through Ferguson at about 2am last night... I didn't slow down or stop for obvious reasons despite the strong urge to stop and take a pic in front of the ruins...

I'm summing up the killing as gang related.

One bad boy of color and one white guy with badge gang.

If the white guy was not a cop and just another bad boy that happened to be white or Hispanic the death of Brown would never make the paper.

Shooting deaths all day everyday by tough guys around the world.

If the white cop was out of uniform and just cutting through the neighborhood and got into an altercation with Brown and shot him would it make the paper?

Or until it was found out he was an off duty cop.

I can't imagine with the information that I've heard, the true information like the guy in the raw video of Michael Brown laying in the middle of the street, saying that Brown just kept going towards the cop, and he thought the cop was missing because he wasn't slowing down..... The entry points of the GSW's ...... The character seen by Brown in the store he robbed, and shown by him walking down the middle of the street, refusing to obey a police officer when told to go to the sidewalk, and then assaulting a police officer.... It's pretty "evident" that the young man made some really bad decisions.... And pretty evident that he won't make any more after his last bad decision...
