I'm also with Virginia Shadow on this. Whatever problems minorities in Ferguson are having, it's not my fault. Whatever problems minorities are having in my town, it's not my fault. I can see that Justin is trying to be understanding. But it's not his fault either.
At some point people are going to have to stand up and say enough. They cry and cry and its our falt for being scared to say the truth. I keep seeing on the tv now that they want to change the laws so this doesnt happen again? What the frig are they talking about? If you go to whipping on a cop or anyone for that matter to the point they think they are in major trouble... you are going to get lead poison (as you should). What is there to change about that? We are their problem.. no one stands up to the crap they spew for fear of... I dont even know. I for one get sick every time I hear them run their mouths about how unfair things are. The poor me crap is just that, CRAP. Dont want to be profiled? Dont be thugs. Want to be a equal part of society? Learn to speak proper english and name your kids something people can pronouce. The list goes on and on. Anyone can be a thug ect ect... they CHOOSE what they see as the easy way out.. selling drugs and robbing people is easier than going to school and work. That and being a thug and yo yo yo is soooo coool! Its cool until you take it too far and catch some slugs. Then its pooor black kid.. My son was a goood kid. The WHITE police profile us and kill young black men..... As I said before.. Play stupid games.. win stupid prizes.
So I have CNN on and they are showing a video of Browns step father yelling to "Burn this ***** down" and trying to start a chant for it. I wonder if the police would consider charging him with trying to insight a riot. especially since they did burn a bunch of stuff
Radio just had an interview, (I believe his real father?) asking everyone to end the violence in town.
What bothers me about this whole thing is how the media is sensationalizing it. It ticks me off that they keep displaying the picture of the innocent little 12-year-old boy with headphones, when that's not even close to being a current picture. The guy was a thug, and the media knows if they showed current pictures of him then there would not be near the backlash to the story. They are trying to portray him as innocent as possible and a victim of police brutality. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
For the life of me, I just cannot fathom why one would want to riot, burn, destroy and loot the very town you call home. The people protesting were not present at the incident and they were not on the grand jury to hear the evidence yet they seem to know that an injustice has been served.
All this is to me is a PC response. Enough with the excuses already!! I couldn't disagree with you more.
58 of 61 arrested last night were from STL. This is a cop out. People are ****ting in their own nest.
I don't know, I grew up a poor kid in the city with an alcoholic father who was rarely there, and when he was it was to beat us or my mom. Grew up poor without a 1/4 of the safety nets or resources this group is allowed just because of the color of their skin. I know what's its like to be looked down on, have no electricity or hot water. Go to school with wet clothes because you didn't have a dryer. The school I went to I was one of three white kids, so yeah I got to experience racism. So I don't want to hear crap about how bad it is for them. They do it to themselves and the blame falls on them. But I've yet to loot or even been arrested, I guess I had "white" privileged because I had at least one good parent that did all she could for us . So thanks Mom.
I know exactly where Ferguson is, I lived in St Louis in the 90's. The media is trying to spin this as people being bussed in to loot. The county police said 58 of the 61 were from the " St Louis metro area".
But again, that isn't Furguson. How many are from Furguson? I'm sure some are but the fact is that many of these looters are opportunist thugs that could care less about Brown or Furguson.
I understand what metro means. There are alot of towns that comprise the st louis metro area. Again, how many were actually from Furguson and not the surrounding "metro" area?
You do realize that there was looting and rioting IN St Louis, right? Grand Blv is not in Ferguson. Kings Hwy isn't. I-44 isn't either. The violence was not just in Ferguson last night. Hell, there isn't much left there to steal or burn.
