Justin X 2 well said. If anybody wants info on Ryan just watch fox news. All the other media outlets are criminally biased. Free press my ***. And within 4 days I know more about paul Ryan's life and where he comes than I do after 4 years Obama. **** I still don't know. Do you?

You'll have to excuse my lateness.. I don't get on the site near as much as I once did.

The problem I have with the video.. is it is without context. Anyone can produce a video similar to show their views... and the author of the video is unknown to me. What are his credentials.. if any?

Entitlements should be looked at.. I agree.. but compared with defense.. they are a drop in the bucket. Here's why.

Here's a read by the good folks at the Washington Post... speaking clearly it reflects the shortfalls of SS.. only because our government raids it... they've been doing it for decades to help pay what.. you guessed it.. wars.

    http://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...65d98e-e499-11e1-9739-eef99c5fb285_story.html

See.. defense is much more than just the money they tell us about.. economists have been leaking the governments secrets for decades. The govt. just does this very slyly.. giving programs phony names.. but in secret stealing the money for more weapons.

A perfect example would be.. the Afghan-Russian war in the 80's. The CIA was hand delivered billions to help aid Afghans to fight the rooskies... and they did it all without ever claiming they did.. and its done regularly.. and much of it is through the thieving of money from other programs.. such as SS.

But I digress.. this discussion is about the current election.. and the two morons running for office.

The Independent did a great series of articles to show us stupid Americans what the best economists in the land are trying to tell us.. we are screwed either way because the way the system currently runs elections.. but if given the choice between the two.. Romney is disastrous.. the middle class perishes from our country.

Here's part 4.. the first parts (if anyone chooses to read on) are about Obama's shortfalls.

    http://therealnews.com/t2/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=31&Itemid=74&jumival=8602

I'm tired of politicians crying more defense.. more defense.. and stealing money from the old.. the kids.. the taxpayers.. and anywhere else they can find it. Sorry.. but as soon as a politician wishes to increase defense spending.. it means we're going broke somewhere else. Romney/Ryan want to increase it.. even greater than it already was going.. they are not the answer. My conservative party is dead.

Sorry if any of this is distorted.. I'm using a different browser at the moment and not digging it.

What a mess! Sad we have to base our vote on the VP.

I think people put way too much stock into a VP pick. Any VP pick, whether republican or democrat, is designed to bring in voters that the Presidential candidate cannot. Why else would you pick a vp that differs from your own views? Also do you think that Mitt is going to realign his views to that of Ryans? Of course not. Aside from the tiebreaking vote, how much power does a VP have toward policy anyway?

But if that was a factor in the decision, don't you think the presidential candidate would want someone who shared his ideals?

I think the unions and leftist media are so good at twisting the facts and blurings the truths to an otherwise buzy, hard working public that Republicans just may have a chance. But then again we did vote in Clinton for a second term and almost his angry wife:-/

    Keep hope alive.
