I stuck my 2nd doe the other day and decided to give my spot a little rest until today. As I was walking to my stand I stopped to check my pics and nothing! I don't under stand how I can go from 100+ pics a day to nothing since my last kill. Any suggestions?

Did you check the camera to make sure it was functioning?

Yes, that was the first thing I did when I noticed the big goose egg on the screen. It was the first kill in this area so it just doesn't make sense

Hopefully it was a glitch and corrected itself at the card check, were you able to see any fresh sign in the area?

Couldn't imagine an area with that much traffic pulling a blank. I've had deer on cam a few hours after I shot one almost as if they were following the path I drug it on.

Hopefully your next card pull will have something.

Did she gush blood everywhere and did you gut her on sight? Did you walk around looking for her on the recovery?

If you think about it, there's probably good reason they have temporarily abandoned the area, the smell of death isn't very inviting.

I'm hoping the same. Kinda discouraging and almost pulled stakes and moved elsewhere. I'll give it a few more days here and see what happens.

The deer may have a new food source in a different area
