I hope so because the amount it would have cost me to fix would have been ridiculous. Thank goodness for warranties!

Are you going to give it another shot with the whole thing being replaced?

I haven't decided yet. I just don't trust it very much. I'd hate to trade it in so I might try selling it outright.

That sounds a bit fishy to me in all honesty. I am quite familiar with Chevy fuel pumps and there isn't anything special (other than the float arm itself) that holds the float up properly????? Just my .02 I'm no mechanic just been down this road many times.

Also FWIW changing out a fuel pump is not rocket science. Buy the pump and DIY and save a grand. Loosen the strap lower the tank. Swap pump and plug BAM... 2 hours tops

Also they said they are replacing the entire system? Like from fuel pump all the way through injection?

I'd have to look at the invoice. I haven't had a chance to look at it since my wife picked it up. I think it was the piece that holds the float was broken causing it to read the fuel level wrong.

Ya I've changed the fuel pump on my truck myself so that's not a problem. Only reason they fixed it was because of the warranty.
