Seems to never fail, the more you bend over backwards to try and help someone out, the harder they stick it to ya.
YEP! I go well beyond what I should do for my customers and it bites me in the a$$ one way or another almost every time.
Don't grow weary in doing good. I think that's in the Bible somewhere! Anyway, stay strong, and I see you are from Topeka. My wife grew up around there in a small town called Silverlake.
Seems to be an ongiong theme as of late, but todays frustration stems from a guy who worked for me a few years ago. I ended up firing him 2 years ago and he was ineligable for rehire. He made contact with me a few months back giving me a long story about how much he had changed and blah blah blah. After a few weeks of talking with him I agreed to see what I could do about getting him back in. This was no easy task, EVERYONE from my GM to head of HR was adamantly against me rehiring him. I stuck my neck out and sold them on the dude and even brought him in at a fairly higher pay rate than I normally would. (When the guys has his **** together he is a stellar bench mech.) Anyway long story short he didn't even make it past his 90 day probation before he burned me good. I could go on.........
Dude. Its Friday the 13th AND a full moon. I already lost power before my morning shower AND picked up a body at work. I feel your pain today.
Don't let it stop you from doing good stuff in this world. Its people like you that make this world tolerable for people like us. I firmly believe that the good you do will come back to you. Keep on keeping on....
