What's the deal guys? I haven't been on here much at all this summer, (Summer farming job keeps me right busy) so I might have missed the thread but I get on here today and with the season just weeks away I see no college football threads? Whats going on?! Lets get some trash talking, predictions, blah blah hoorah goin.. its nearly here! GO GATORS!
Ahh.. shall we see each other in Atlanta again this year? What about that season opener with the Hokie Birds, that's going to be a GREAT game.
We used to be friends... but that is now in question! Sam Bradford didn't get any worse my friend, if it wasn't deer season you could come down here for the Red River Shootout and watch it first hand :D Boomer Sooner.
In 3 weeks, I will be able to enjoy life again. BTW, Caleb, Colt McCoy will not play more than 3 games this season. You heard it here first. My prediction: Florida vs OU for the BCS championship game....again. Prediction for my team (LSU): 10-2
Texas vs Florida in the national championship with Texas comming out on top. I think that OU will be undefeated untill they face Texas and Texas will get the bid that they should have gotten last year. My Team FL State: 8-4
You mean Michigan State still has a team? I thought they folded up shop when ole Nick left for LSU. :D
Between the games with USC, PSU and an Iowa sleeper team. I see the Bucks losing one of them. They have the speed and talent to win all three but it would be a heck of an accomplishment. Buckeyes go 11-1 and win the Big 10.
Man I hope not. If they go 11-1, then that means they could possibly be in another BCS Championship game, and no one wants to see that again. I don't think Buckeye fans want to see that again. :D
Honestly, I do not see them in a BCS championship game with 1 loss.. A BCS game? Sure.. But not the championship game. The year we played LSU, it was not OSU's fault they were in that game. Everyone knew beforehand they shouldn't be there either. They finished their season ranked like 7th and everyone ahead of them in the polls lost the last few weeks of the season. They were there by default. They were not the #1 team in the country going into the BCS game. Everyone knew it too, but they got placed in the game anyhow. You cannot fault them for being put in a game they had no buisness being in in the first place.
It's the ups and downs of college football... Conferences go up and down.... Teams go up and down. Its just life. LSU for example was nothing until a few years ago. No tradition.
