i decided to try out the new Prostaff 5 rangefinder. Got it on sale for $179.99, paid about $200 out the door. It was well worth it! The optical quality is fantastic, compared to both the Prostaff 3 and Leupold RX600i, it was night and day. The feel and finish is great, a non slip rubberized coating that both looks and feels high quality. Reticle is good, reading is reliable. It is said to have a 600yd max but i was actually able to get a consistent reading off of a truck at 627.5yds. Overall it was money well spent and should serve me well this season! To anyone looking for a rangefinder without droppigng $300 for the Archers choice, i highly recommend the new Prostaff 5!

Nick, Great to hear you are happy with your new PROSTAFF 5 Rangefinder. Glad you were able to take advantage of the PROMO that is going on until 11/9/13. Who doesn't like to save some $?
That promo can let you step up into the next Series of rangefinders that offer more features.
Hope to see some pics of you using it and hearing about how well it worked for you this hunting season.
