i decided to try out the new Prostaff 5 rangefinder. Got it on sale for $179.99, paid about $200 out the door. It was well worth it! The optical quality is fantastic, compared to both the Prostaff 3 and Leupold RX600i, it was night and day. The feel and finish is great, a non slip rubberized coating that both looks and feels high quality. Reticle is good, reading is reliable. It is said to have a 600yd max but i was actually able to get a consistent reading off of a truck at 627.5yds. Overall it was money well spent and should serve me well this season! To anyone looking for a rangefinder without droppigng $300 for the Archers choice, i highly recommend the new Prostaff 5!
Nikon Rangefinder Nick, Great to hear you are happy with your new PROSTAFF 5 Rangefinder. Glad you were able to take advantage of the PROMO that is going on until 11/9/13. Who doesn't like to save some $? That promo can let you step up into the next Series of rangefinders that offer more features.
