Do you like it? I came across a pretty good deal on one and trying to decide if I should pull the trigger or go a lil more advanced. I'm new to the world of DSLR so I don't want to get in over my head, but I also don't want to be upgrading in a year. Any pros and cons, advice on the camera would be appreciated.

    I love it.
I do wish however that I had waited for about 3 months. I bought mine new and 3 months later the D90 came out with the ability to shoot video.
If you don't need to shoot video it is a very nice camera.
One thing is that it does love to eat up your batteries. If you can, get a "battery grip' and or some extra batteries.
I'm running a 32Gb Sandisk card and never run out of space for pictures even shooting in RAW.
If it is coming with the standard lens (18mmx 55mm) you might want to pick up another lens....I have a 70x300mm.
If you shop around you can pick one up cheap.

The deal is the camera body, 3 batteries, 18x55 lens, & wide angle adapter for $200

Interesting..... in everything I read online about them I never saw anything about not being able to record video. Thanks, this is exactly the kind of info I am needing.

Unless I'm missing something I can't shoot video.
If you can get a similar deal and need video go for a D90.
