"nick names" for big bucks… where do they come from?

    Yup, I get very tired of all the stupid names. Bucks are big, they are not toads, pigs, hogs, studs, ect. I don't like the other little sayings some hunters use like BBD, dirt nap, ect. It's all very stupid, and a bit disrespectful to the animal.
    I caught a fish once and this guy goes "that thing is a toad" My response,"no, it's a largemouth bass". He looked at me like I was nuts.

    I can't stand slob, booner, or hog.

    Only one I use is tank because that's the first thing that comes to mind when seeing a huge body deer or any big animal.

    Some of you guys take this way too serious if you are offended by it.

    Booner is a spike to me. It started off as a joke and just stuck.

    Tank, brute or stud means very big bodied, very mature buck to me. I don't use the word slob or hog much but to me it also means very big and very mature. Nothing that is offensive.
