Went today to pull my cameras in to check them out, batteries, etc and got this nice pic of a Tom on one of my small food plots, 9 days before opening day.

I have actually never hunted turkeys. Everyone has always said that if you ever did it you would quit deer hunting, NOT. I can see where it would be fun and now my 3 year old has said that he wanted to go hunt a thunder chicken so it looks like we will be giving it a shot this fall. I know of at least 3 droves that have 40 to 50 birds in each one and I know where they roost and the field they fly down to so maybe that will give me the upper hand.
