    A NJ hunter captured these photos this summer(2009).

    Outstanding NJ Whitetail. We've got some serious genetics and abundant food sources here in NJ, especially in the rural areas. If they're allowed to grow, grow they DO !!

    WOW, that's a NJ whitetail !!! :eek: Looks more like a Midwest monster! Of course, as you mentioned, all they need is AGE and everyone would be shocked at how impressive their local herds would start to look like.

    Absolutely. We've got the genetics and the food, but with the urban sprawl- its getting harder for deer to escape hunters. Thus, more 2.5yo bucks are being smacked and the age structure is suffering.

    No issues. Shoot what ya want, but, look what can happen when they get old.

    I've seen some MONSTERS here in NJ...But nothing with a spread like this !!

    I really hope the hunter that took these photos is able to harvest this guy...

    Huge buck..... is it just me, or does it's ears looking crazy long in that second photo? They look to be more than a foot long
