Made the first trip out for the year this past weekend. Took a guy from kansas and his son for their first trip...was a great time despite the slowest night we have ever had below Ky dam shining for bigheads...terribly slow. Anywho, by FAR the biggest gar we have shot and got in my boat. Weighed 24 lb 11 oz and I'm guessing it was all of 5' or better. It was bigger around than a coffee can at it's belly. I have better pics on my actual cam that Ive lost. Hows this for a kids first fish?!
