    Yeah my brother in law was driving out by my spot and decided to check the cam. Very very glad he did. Seeing the growth of the deer is a first for me so I'm way to pumped already for how long I have left

    Long story short I was watching this fella for a few years and finally on day 2 he went the exact way I thought he would and stood perfectly broadside to me at 20 and looked at me at full draw. Honestly it was pretty surreal. I shot him and after 10-15 yards the story was done for him. I'm very glad I was able to put such a clean kill on him. Not a giant Illinois buck but definitely one I will never ever forget

    Thank everyone.

    Last year was the first year I shot one and was unable to retrieve it so needless to say my confidence was in the whole. I chose to practice double and do the same for setup (which began immediately following the season). Got my lone wolf stand and thought I might try tree hunting for a change. I went to a 3D course every week and shot every day. It paid off with this deer in a big way.

    Basically this is a shout out to the hunting community, especially archers for the support we give to one another on a daily basis.
