Nice deer. Score? Shot him sat night.

Give me your best guess on what you think this deer will score? This is a northern Minnesota deer has a huge body.

In my mind it's one heck of an 8 but he did grow a small g4 on the left beam.
A little light on mass but long and tall
What would you do? He is

HERE HE IS SHOT SATURDAY AT 6:50

    Thanks for the posts.

I ran the numbers 2X (didn't look right, comparatively - with the photos).

I think he'll be a 135" gross deer, once out of velvet.

I'm not great at the guessing thing. I know he's a great looking buck, though.

    Good luck!

    For comparison, here's a 150" 8 pointer.

Look at the picture where he is out of velvet. I honestly think he'll be over 135 and into the upper 140's. He has great TINE length and really lengthy main beams. He's just laking mass but I still see him nearing the 150 mark.

It's hard for me to tell. I think he is 145 150 he is long but the mass is a bit thin. I saw this deer as a 3 1/2 year old last year and was just about the same. He grew a little g4 on the the left beam it looks to me.

He was about 22 yds last year and didn't take him.

The deer in the picture has shorter main beams than the one in the trail cam pics but more mass, the trail cam buck also has longer g-2's. I thought 153 but might be giving a little mass credit.

That deer will pretty easily break 140, IMO mid 140s. While he lacks the mass of my buck, he dwarfs him in beam length and tine length while being fairly equal in spread.

Mine grossed a hair over 135.

JEff, I think the deer pictured looks bigger than this one you have the picture of, at least on the MAINS and G2 and G3's. I don't see 150" in the deer above or the deer in the trailcam pic's. I got 24 and 25" beams respectively on the TC pic, 2.5 and 3" G1's, 11 & 10" G2's and both G3's look to be around 8"..... Mass is a little light at 28.5" (my guess), and his inside is only about 17"...... So 49 + 5.5 + 21 + 16 + 17 + 28.5 = 137..... I'd be hard pressed to find another 13" for those saying he's a 150 deer, but the deer in your picture Jeff only looks like about a 130 +/- 3" in you're deer pictured.

See above, I could be wrong, but I don't think so.....

The deer I copy/pasted was off the TC site (pretty sure that's the site). No issues! I qualified my guess!

I didnt go through your string. But, the 5.5" of G1's you gave the TC deer is more than a little off (IMO).

That's TOTAL, about 2.5 and 3" for the PAIR, may be shorter, but it's a ballpark number, still doesn't make the buck you have the picture of any closer to 150"........

Hmmmm, the debate will go on. I think the TC buck has at least 19" of spread considering a 4 1/2 year old should have 7-8" ears plus the scull width. He looks wider than the ten I shot two years ago that was 19" and his G-3's are at least 8" but we won't know until it is killed!!!!!
