    I had him thirty yards from me once an he was trailing a doe. He was walking an had vines an limbs in the way. I was drawn on him but just could not muster enough too release the trigger. I was able to get a few shots of him before it got dark.

    Thanks, I will be watching him close next year. He was handging out in an area that I've taken many deer from over about the past 10 years. I am going to try an sneak back in there an see if he is still around after the first of the year.

    When I read the subject I thought the "next year" meant he would be big enough. I see now he is plenty big and you're just hoping to get another crack at him next year. Good luck on him. That buck is a slammer.
