    Good news...the Red Wins have a few days off to heal and rest up. They are the only team to sweep in the first round. Maybe Zetterburg will be feeling better and Frazen's face will heal. Anaheim or Nashville will likely be in for a hurtin'. I hope it's Nashville - these late games are killing me.

    Some awesome hockey being played all around the league. Caps are looking good, finally some good defense seems to be paying off

    The Blackhawks hung in there last night in OT, but man, Vancuver seemed like they were dominating the offensive zone most of the 3rd period, I didnt think they were going to pull it off. Was a fun game to watch.

    We had a 50th birthday for a neighbor last night and watched the Blackhawks game, that was a nail biter!!!!

    As you stated a Chicago/Washington final would be awesome, only problem is that Chicago is the only team I like more than Washington:(

    Do I sense a great deal of jealousy to the premier team in the league there Jason?

    Did you see the Tigers sweep the White Sox the past few days? Outscored them 21-3 in the series....ouch.

    I hear ya Jason, that would be cool with me, Caps-Hawks cup.

    Detroit looks like the team to beat though, pretty impressive. Although they will have the longests down time going into the next round which could actually hurt them as far as not staying in a groove, but, they also will have the longest time heal up.

    Love this time of year!!! Turkey season, hockey playoffs, shroom hunting, looking for new bow hunting goodies, good fishing, barbeques and cookouts, and bow season is just over the horizon.

    I could care less about the White Sox, I was born at Ft. Mead and was raised an Orioles fan;)

    Detroit will choke, they are not as good a team as you think and this is the Playoffs. As stated DETROIT SUCKS!!!!

    I agree with Diesel....what a great time of year. There's not enough weekends right now to take full advantage of all the activities. Guess I'll have to take some time off - this Friday going fishing for browns on Lake Michigan. I am spending Sat and Sun at Pictured Rocks (Michigan's UP) hiking and camping. Next Fri, Sat, Sunday going turkey hunting with a couple of buddies - one that has never been turkey hunting before! The list goes on and on...
