The league has been getting soft for a longtime. Ever since the mighty duck movies and the Anaheim Ducks franchise it has been going down hill. Shaws' suspension is a joke. I find the NHL hard to watch, all these tough guys dropping there gloves with the half shields drives me nuts. If you have a half shield either no fighting or you should have to take off your helmet first or it should be a penalty.

Three game suspension for Orpik...seems fair to me. The locals around here are all up in arms about it but it was a dirty hit.
There is a player for the stars that has 12 goals in the playoffs, just that number of goals in the NHL regular season would have made him the 7th highest goal scorer on the Wild last season. My point is the wild even though they made the playoffs they suck.
I was suprised they went 6 with dallas. Hopefully dallas destroys the blues tomorrow and I think the winner takes the cup. Would be a first for the blues.
