I hated the call...however in short yardage situations we are better suited with Rip infront of Christian Michael.

Michael is ridiculous about hitting holes incredibly hard, at times way too fast honestly.

GB @ Cowboys - again a toss up for me. Depends on Montgomery and Jordy status. I quit watching the game in the 4th quarter so don't know their statuses.

Monty actually came back in amazingly...Jordy I'd bet personally is done for the playoffs...busted rib minimum be my guess.

That was a tough hit. He did hit with helmet first but he also had pretty full arm extension right after so it's a tough call in my opinion to call it spearing. Either way, tough blow to the Pack if he is out.

Not spearing, but they explained should have been easily identified by the judge right there as defenseless receiver.

HUGE blow honestly....but nothing anyone can do now. If Cobb can find himself like he did that would be huge assistance in it.

Tough call. I honestly don't get why/how there can be a defenseless receiver when he's got the ball in his hands.

Yeah the NFL has made it a point of emphasis in leading with the helmet especially the crown of the helmet. I am not going to complain and Jordy will pull thru and be ok at some point but that was a penalty that went uncalled the refs will have that call pointed out in the review.

Lester disagrees who then rips on other posts for not being worth a damn. When he is almost wrong about everything anyway. Hey he even said the Pack was done earlier in the season and that you were just being homer fan. LOL Smart guy he is.

He was in the air and unable to defend himself is how it is defined, I disagree with it too...but doesn't lead with the helmet and performs a shoulder first pounding blow nothing to complain about nor the league to apologize for really.

Sota they missed some blatant stuff and not all were against the Packers....GB nailed Eli's fact/helmet on a pass and should have been called, Cobb made a rather severe push off once that wasn't called as well.

Now neither of those resulted in an injury and was blatantly leading with crown of helmet but just wanted to be fair to the Giants, not everything was against GB by a long stretch.

Funniest thing is I projected even if we right the ship I could not justify or see more than 9 wins...they exceeded my best case prediction and fair exceeded my logical one (8-8). Lester has issues with Packer fans, but I take it as just being a Viking fan and understand

Hey it's Monday let it go. There is a reason I avoid being online during the game, hell the dogs kennel themselves up when I am watching the game. Nobody is rational and a fan of the NFL when they are watching a game where they care about the outcome.

I heard a talking head before the game that was making a case against the "all Star" reffing crews they put together for the playoffs. He stated that the refs would do better working with the same crew they worked with all season.

I am a pure blooded Packer fan, but even watching the game realize when blown calls go our way...shoot on the hail mary I held my breath when I saw Cobb arm check someone...he didn't shove but for a second I expected a flag.

The viking fans are sensitive about a perceived push off, they can't get over that Nate Wright slipped when Drew Pearson cut in the 1975 NFC championship game. So now when ever there is a little jostling by a receiver they want to throw an empty whiskey bottle and hit the ref in the head with it.

There certainly was a push off on the hail mary.

If speaking of Cobb specifically, I can see how an official would see it as hand checking the defender...but I do believe some force may have been behind the touch.

Not as egregious as the total shove like on the Fail Mary way back when (Tate) but still if they'd called it I'd probably of not been mad by it....frustrated sure, but not mad.

Slow motion is annoying but found this one on youtube. Arms fully extended pushing defender.

Packers vs Giants Hail Mary penalty missed - YouTube

As much as I dislike the Packers (majority of their fans than the actual team) at this point in the season, I just want to watch games that don't have BS calls or obvious missed calls regardless of the offending team.

I picked the Packers to go 11-5 and I have said it more than once I am not from MN. I don't have a problem when they win and already said I hope they win this weekend which I believe will give them a great chance to make the super Bowl. I do have a problem with some of the fans which you are definitely a part of who think they are experts because their team wins. How many times can you use the same line of no trophy's and show the empty trophy case. If I don't know much about sports then like I said before your posts don't bring much!

Like I've said my instinct was flag...if I was the official and saw it at the overhead angle I did I'm throwing a flag...not sure what angle the officials had but surprised wasn't.
