Vick has a broken hand. They will not go 14-2 with him out for how 6-8 weeks.

I hope not! But, as is the case with any 1-2 team right now, they still CAN! :)

I think Vick does have a point. I have a hard time believing the hit that broke Vick's hand wouldn't have result in a penalty for other QBs, like Brees or Brady for example. Its not like that has all of a sudden become an issue. It came up quite a bit last season.

I know its football and that explanation is getting wore out. Yes, we knows it football, but they have rules. Those rules changed and you have to play by them. I think the problem is Vick is different than the other QBs. Any time you have a unique player, in any sport, he/she can be difficult to officiate. Its the combination of his abilities, how he plays, his offensive line, his size, and lackluster officiating.

Bottom line though, most of the other QBs in the league take a facemask-to-facemask shot, you will see a flag. In that case, I think he is correct. If it weren't an issue last year too, I also don't think Vick and the Eagles would be talking about it.

How do the Viks and Colts feel right about now...? Bills, nice win. Which Romo is gonna rear his head tonight? Falcons and Philly, who would of guessed 1-2 to start the season.. Battle of the rookie Qbs.. Cam comes out on top in a serious down pour. Jets lose da radas! Wow. I didnt get to watch any games but caught up on all the highlights last night..

probably the same thing he did in Nashville; fake injuries when losing and throw temper tantrums when he does not do well. oh well, seems he will fit right in with Vick's whining

Vick has received more roughing the passer flags in the last 2 seasons (i believe the stat was. Heard on ESPN via KFAN radio) than any other QB in the NFL....

I'm not arguing that it shouldn't be more, just pointing out that he gets calls.

Yup, I'm aware of that. And if you look at the last two seasons, I bet he would also lead the league in illegal hits that didn't get flagged.

Yesterday's hit, by rule, was illegal.

Pittsburgh just wanted to build Baltimores confidence up. It will be a repeat Super Bowl with a different outcome!

    Lions, Bills... WOW!

That Cowboys defense is looking better than it has in a lot of years. They are still short some starters and look impressive. Give Romo a role where he has to maintain and manage the game instead of slinging it all over the place and they may be a playoff team.

Wes Welker did ok for me in fantasy last week:woot:. Michael Vick has been a fantasy headache. Matt Schaub get ready for week 4... Vick is heading to the bench
