With another bears defeat combined with the lions loss the NFC North is won on week 1 by the Packers. Suck it viking fans.
I have to admit though... with the new bears coaching team, they made the bears look fairly good yesterday... (though the Packer penalties didnt hurt the bears chances either).
Packers have a cleaner game in penalties it is much broader game score wise....just take away their boneheaded 4th down penalty that gave the Bears a first down basically and then scored on the drive. Bears looked better than I thought they would (and I am a Packer backer through and through)....Cutler played a clean passing game really and that pick was more about Clay and the coverage than Cutler forcing it. Pack had even more injury issues with Barrington going down...but I look for the team to get better and better.....once Guion is back D line should do better too.
I am a Browns fan and the Cleveland curse will continue. McCown had a great first drive and then got a concussion so we were stuck with Manziel the rest of the game. He still sucks. The defense got screwed with bad starting field position and ended up giving up as the game went on. I am so sick of this. What I watched was not football, it was garbage.
Seattle losing changes the game in the NFC. They might struggle this year as that D does not look the same. I'm thinking the Cowboys and Packers have the be the favs to win the NFC right now but there is a long ways to go.
Bridgewater looked bad. He overthrew the ball and was off target quite a bit. I was surprised at how little they gave the ball to Peterson and when they did he went no where. I'll tell you what though, even though they didn't score much (penalties) and Kaepernick didn't throw the ball much, he looks much improved from last year. His numbers didn't show it but his ability to go through his progression and make a smart play was apparent. Carlos Hyde was a beast. My sleeper team for this year is the Buffalo Bills. They remind me a lot of the Seahawks.
I was disappointed they never got creative with Peterson... Always up the middle.... Same ol Vikings. SF didn't even play a good game and they beat us pretty bad Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
LOL, why? Their defense is pretty good and they have a similar type QB as Wilson. I think they're better than what people might think. EDIT: Besides the Patriots, Packers, Bengals, and Broncos (maybe the Colts too if they fix their run issues), the typical good teams looked mediocre and there seems to be a shift in the up and coming teams and I think the Bills are one of them.
Cowboys looked pretty bad. Shoul've lost to the awful Giants. But a win is a win. Surprised at the Eagles looking not very good either. Bills Definitely stood out as looking really solid. That defense is the real deal. The story will become more clear after 4 weeks. I liked seeing the Rams beat the Seahawsks, but they still have that home field advantage for them. I'm amazed at the injuries so early on (between pre-season and 1st week). Seems like an awful lot of big names have gone down for weeks or the season. I'm liking Pats vs. Packers in Super Bowl.
